So while the 2016 school year has come to an end, the 'food year' is only just beginning!

All of the tomatoes are flowering and growing strongly - stay tuned for passata!

And Lachlan's pumpkin meadow looks an absolute treat! There are several different varieties of pumpkins this year; Turks Turban, butternut squash, Dill's Atlantic Giant and Jack-be-Little.

Two hard working women planted 250 sunflower seedlings (sown 10 days earlier by enthusiastic students) amongst the pumpkins to provide a canopy of summer shade for the pumpkins.
