Today is the first of many 'mini market days' intended for the garden to be able to help support itself.
The aim of these 'Fridays' is to offer fresh surplus food to families; the excess food that is not needed/used by the students.
There are many veggies ripening in the garden at the moment; zucchini, squash, rainbow chard, bok choy, many different varieties of beans, corn, lettuce, cucumbers and herbs.
The market stall on Friday afternoons in the foyer of the school office, will be on a "first in, first served" basis,

with a gold coin donation per item.
Come to the school office after school, each Friday to check out the harvest.
Quite a bargain for fresh, organically grown food!
These donations allow us to grow more food and develop the food forest even further.
'Borlotti' beans; the dried bean is used
in minestrone soup
