The 'Brassica's'

At the end of last term, grade 3/4 students learned about the wonderful Brassica 'family.'

This includes broccoli; cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, swede, turnip, kale and bok choy.

In our cool/temperate climate zone, these are our winter veggies and planted out now.

If you asked any of the 3/4 students about the importance of 'Brassica's', they would be able to tell you what a wonder food this is!
