Driving past an Agruicultural Engineering business in Grovedale last week, I noticed both corn and sunflowers planted along the front fence.

So I went into the business and asked if we could please have one of the spent sunflower heads to harvest for seeds and plant next spring in the food forest!

Students will collect; count, package and save all the seeds from the enormous sunflower head.

Thanks PJ Green for being so obliging!
